Travel by Air
If you are flying to Ireland check out which of the airports suit you best. Each one will have connections to Letterkenny by bus or taxi.
Travel by Sea
A variety of ferry services are available from Britain and continental Europe to Ireland. Ports in Ireland include Dublin Port, Dún Laoghaire Harbour and Rosslare Harbour. In Northern Ireland, the ports are Port of Belfast and Port of Larne. Some useful websites are -

Travel by Road
Driving time from Dublin, Athlone or Galway is three - four hours, depending on traffic and time of day. Derry is about thirty minutes drive and Belfast is approximately two hours away.
Travel by Bus
Several bus companies operate daily services and the campus is only about five minutes walk from the Bus Éireann Depot and the drop-off point for most of the private bus companies.
Dublin to Letterkenny
This route serves Dublin Airport and also the towns of Ardee, Castleblayney, Monaghan, Omagh, Strabane and Lifford. The main operators are Bus Éireann (Expressway #32) and John McGinley Coach Travel.
Galway to Letterkenny
This route serves the towns of Tuam, Claremorris, Knock, Ireland West Airport Knock, Sligo, Bundoran, Ballyshannon, Donegal Town and Ballybofey/Stranorlar. The main operators are Bus Éireann (Expressway #64) & Feda O’Donnell. Private bus companies from other towns in the west (eg, Westport, Castlebar, Ballina) arrange their schedules to link up with these.
Within Donegal
